Hi everyone! I have arrived in Idaho Falls. It sure lives up to it’s name. After we checked out of our hotel, we went and checked out the river- a private river for guests only- and we found out that is was actually the Snake River! And there were falls there! We also saw some ducks, but unfortunately, we were not able to get a picture of them. 11,000 years ago, Indians lived along the river. Trout lived in the river, and that was their main source of food. Lewis and Clark also went along the river once! One time, a sign made by the Indians made to represent fish was misinterpreted as a snake, and therefore…Snake River! That is how it got its name. Look for my next post soon!
