More interesting things

Hey! I’ve seen lots of interesting things as of late, so here’s tons more stuff to check out! First, this diver taking a swim in Jellyfish Lake:

206014_547752461909209_339178912_nIn Jellyfish Lake, you can swim with hundreds of jellyfish that lost their sting. The lake was originally connected to the Pacific ocean, but because of water levels dropping, the lake was disconnected and the jellyfish were trapped inside. Looks fun to me!

Next, check out this cat named Kido, who has become quite the professional at shell games:

Amazing, right? Kido’s owner says that the purpose of the video was not to show how smart he was, but to show that Kido was willing to play the game and actually got it right. Animals are smarter than we think! Check out these two awesome websites, unusualcreatures.com and macaulaylibrary.org. Unusual creatures has lots of information about – what else? – unusual creatures! Macaulay Library is the best website for animal audio recordings. Simply look up your desired animal, and there you go! Next, this macro-photography of water:

537167_531468996874116_1967414083_nThis is pretty crazy. They look like mushrooms, don’t they? But it’s water. Wow. This next photo might not make sense at first, but it will:

69666_456447927743095_658900420_nHere’s the story: During a cross-country race, Abel Mutai (guy in front) was in first place, and Iván Fernández Anaya was in a distant second. As Iván ran, he saw Abel stop 10 meters short of the finish line, thinking that he crossed it. Rather than cross it first, Iván came up to Abel and used gestures to show him the finish line, and let him cross it first. What an act of kindness and honesty! We should ALL be like that.

To finish off, check out this funny video of a bad lip reading of the NFL…

Pretty funny! Comment to let me know how I’m doing, and I’ll see you all next time!
