Even more interesting things

Hey! Today I have even MORE interesting things to show you. The interesting things just keep piling up, and this is where I put them! First of all, a food fight that happened at Abraham Lincoln’s second inaugural feast. During the feast, many delicious items were served, including turtle stew, burned almond ice cream, and pickled oysters. The table was only meant to serve 300 people, so naturally, a fight broke out. Food was flying everywhere! Doesn’t sound like a very nice feast.

Next to show are these two interesting travel articles about tourist traps. Check out this first one, about tourist traps that we secretly love, and this one, about overrated tourist traps. The second one also provides advice about what to see instead! Check out these funny replies to an invitation to a scientist’s ball:

Created by Heidi Voet, the carpet was made by fastening the straps together. The watches were made to chime in unison, but of course, things will arise and the watches will chime out of unison. This will reflect Heidi’s idea that chaos will ensue with the march of time. Check out this pic.2

Last but certainly not least on the list, this awesome website, howstuffworks.com! This is a pretty cool website with lots of things to check out about – what else? – how stuff works! You can portal yourself there right here. Well, would you look at the time! I’m going to have to wrap up for now. But stick around, I’ll always be back with more!
