Black History fun facts: February 18th, 2015
Sorry I missed you yesterday! It was my birthday, so I took the day off. Anyways, here’s two facts for both days.
1. In 2008, Usain Bolt for team Jamaica became the first person ever to set three world records in a single olympic game.
2. We all know about baseball legend Jackie Robinson – but did you know he had an older brother who was also a star athlete? True story! In the 1936 olympic games, he came in second to Jesse Owens in the 200-yard dash, and earned himself a silver medal.
