Random factoid of the day
Just thought I would give you a random fact to ponder about. The standard unit of mass is the kilogram, but in the UK, their unit is called the slug! Do you have any quick and weird facts you want me to post? Let me know!

I like Imagine Dragons, but not to the point that I would consider myself a fan. However, their song “Radioactive” on the Synthesia Piano is (in my opinion) WAY better than the original version. Have a listen:
(I did not make this cover)
Pretty good, no? I think so. If you have any good song covers for me, please share!
Just thought I would give you a random fact to think about. This was sent in from my good friend Patrick: Did you know that the odds of winning the lottery are the same odds of getting mauled by a polar bear and a regular bear in the same day? Who would have thought? All credit goes to Patrick Lawrence for the fact. Do you have any facts you want me to post? Leave a comment!
Every now and then we should all get in touch with our wild side and bring out our inner animals. However, some animals seem to be to strange to be real. This is certainly the case with…
…The beautiful Maned Wolf…
If that’s not enough weirdness, you can find even more strange animals here. Do you have a strange animal you want to share? Leave a comment!
Check out these ideas that will turn your house into party central! They may be expensive, but the payoff is worth it. Haven’t you always wanted something like…
Or this chandelier that turns your room into a forest?
Or maybe even this indoor-outdoor pool?
You can see all these ideas and 30 more right here. But beware – these ideas might leave you unsatisfied with your current home!
And I’m back with another cool game that I’ve found. This one involves a trick of the eye known as forced perspective. It might sound unfamiliar, but if you’ve ever seen a picture of someone holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa, you already know what it is – the object itself remains the same size, but compared with something else, it seems to change size. This game by Pillow Castle Games, this concept is taken to a whole new level – make a chess piece the size of a house, or make the Statue of Liberty the size of a mouse. You can even resize portals to make yourself bigger or smaller! The game hasn’t been released to the public yet but here is a trailer:
If you still can’t wait to play, you can try a similar game, Tale of Scale. So what do you think – will this “illusion” type genre of gaming gain popularity or not? Let me know in the comments!
