Puzzles and Music

In the time I’ve been gone, I’ve found some neat stuff. Here’s a site and a video if you’re ever bored!

#1: MIT Mystery Hunt 2011

One of my favorite shows led me to this, the 2011 version of the MIT Mystery Hunt. It takes place at MIT every year, and it’s a crazy scavenger hunt/puzzle game full of wacky clues that lead you to the final treasure: the fabled “Coin”, which is usually some sort of trinket. Each year’s hunt is designed by last year’s winners, and 2011’s theme was video games (undoubtedly my favorite theme). To get started on your own hunt, take this portal. But be warned – it will take all your wits about you to solve these puzzles! This video is by Animusic. They make their music first, then create crazy animated instruments that sync up to the sound! This video, “Pipe Dream”, is just one of their many songs. Other popular songs include “Resonant Chamber”, “Starship Groove”, and “Harmonic Voltage”.
Well, hope you’ll be enjoying these for a long time! Don’t forget to comment and check out other posts! Next up, vacation pictures!
